During the event, expert sleep medicine faculty explored state-of-the-art patient care management in the diagnosis and treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. They also discussed the latest clinical research and strategies to improve current sleep center practices through a mix of session types.

Sleep Study Insurance Preauthorization

Receiving insurance preauthorization for an attended sleep study (AST) or polysomnography (PSG) may take your sleep care management center up to two weeks, or longer when more data is required from your patient or their referring physician. And, if your sleep lab management center does not receive authorization for your services, the claim will be denied in part or in whole for failure to obtain authorization and your patient cannot be billed for your service.
