Improving Pediatric PAP Adherence

The National Sleep Foundation claims that the prevalence of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and other sleep disorders in children is roughly 3% and as high as 20% in those with habitual snoring. Children may have a family history of OSA, present with obesity or special needs, or experience persistent snoring and apneas after adenotonsillectomy. Positive airway pressure (PAP) therapy is increasingly being utilized for children.
